Being a female entrepreneur is one of the most rewarding—and challenging—journeys I’ve ever taken. Add in being a wife and a mum to children with disabilities and additional needs, and the balancing act becomes even more complex, emotional, and, at times, overwhelming.
My days are a constant dance between business tasks and the unique demands of parenting. School runs often come with added layers of planning, appointments, therapies, and extra care. There are moments when I feel stretched in every direction—when the mental load feels heavier than the to-do list. But in the midst of it all, I find purpose. I find strength. I find love.
Running a business while raising a neurodiverse family has taught me to be flexible, resilient, and deeply intuitive. I’ve learned to let go of perfection and embrace presence. Some days the work flows easily, and other days it’s about simply showing up—both for my children and for myself.
What keeps me going is knowing I’m creating something meaningful—not just for my clients, but for my family. I want my children to see that it’s possible to pursue your passions, even when the journey looks different.
To every mum out there building a dream while navigating the world of additional needs: I see you. You are incredible. You are enough. And you are never alone. We have got this!!
